HOW IS YOUR BENCHTOP MADE

The Process

While the process may appear daunting, we’ve managed to distill the complexity down into three easy steps for you. Here’s how it works.

Measuring

No wall is perfectly flat or smooth. That's why accurate measurement is the critical first step in creating your new countertops. Our trained experts will come to your home and use the latest digital technology to create a precise digital template that ensures a seamless fit.

Templating

Templating in this industry refers to the stencilling of the kitchen with accurate measurements which will be used to cut and manufacture the stone. Templating can only be carried out after the kitchen furniture has been fully fitted and no further changes are going to be made. The cabinets must be absolutely level.

Manufacturing

We manufacture all our kitchen worktops in our own factory based in Tweed Heads using state of the art CNC machinery and the best quality materials available. All our materials are selected and quality checked prior to production

Installing

We employ highly skilled craftsmen to carry out all our installations. Two or more of our friendly team will visit to install your new benchtop, ensuring you have a stress-free experience and that no mess is left behind.

Important Things to Know

Don't move!

Important Tips

  • Once the template has been done,  cabinets must not be moved or altered in any way.
  • Once installed ensure trades DO NOT use new benchtop as a work bench or standing platform as this can damage the surface.

Sinks, Hotplates & Basin

Please make sure your sink, hotplates and basins are on site at time of templating and fitting. Ensure that adequate support is provided under the sink, especially if a waste disposal unit is being installed or if the sink is ceramic.

Please be there

Please note that you must be available on site on the day templating and installation in order to discuss any specific requirements, and to sign off after the job is completed.
